1. Overview

At Kelly Boutique, we take pride in the quality of our women’s clothing. This Warranty Policy explains what you can expect if an item is faulty and outlines your rights under UK law.

This policy operates in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces those rights.


2. Your Statutory Rights (UK Customers)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all clothing items must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for purpose

  • As described

If your item is faulty, you may be entitled to:

Within 30 Days of Delivery

You have the right to reject faulty goods and receive a full refund.

Within 6 Months of Delivery

If a fault develops within the first 6 months, it is assumed to have been present at delivery unless we can prove otherwise. You are entitled to a repair or replacement, or if that is not possible, a refund.

After 6 Months (Up to 6 Years in England & Wales)

You may still have rights if the item was not of satisfactory quality at the time of purchase, though you may need to prove the fault was present when supplied.


3. Our Clothing Warranty

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 6-month limited warranty from the date of delivery covering:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Stitching faults

  • Broken zips or fastenings due to manufacturing error

  • Fabric defects not caused by wear or misuse

This warranty applies to items purchased directly from our webshop.


4. What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Fading or shrinkage due to incorrect washing

  • Damage caused by failure to follow care label instructions

  • Accidental damage (e.g., tears, snags, burns)

  • Misuse or alteration of the garment

  • General dissatisfaction with fit or style (covered under our Returns Policy instead)


5. Care Instructions

All garments must be washed and cared for according to the instructions on the care label. Failure to follow care instructions may void the warranty.


6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a claim, please contact us within the warranty period:

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the fault

  • Confirmation of how the item has been washed/cared for

We may request the item be returned for inspection.


7. Returns for Faulty Items

  • If the item is confirmed faulty, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.

  • If the item is not found to be faulty, you may be responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Items must be returned in a clean and hygienic condition.

We aim to assess warranty claims within 14 working days of receiving the returned item.


8. Remedies

If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following:

  • Repair (where possible)

  • Replacement (subject to stock availability)

  • Full or partial refund

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.


9. Hygiene Notice

For hygiene reasons, certain items (such as underwear or swimwear without hygiene seals intact) may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

This policy applies to consumers only. If you are purchasing as a business, separate terms may apply.
